Pat Carroll (born September 10, 1982 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is an American professional basketball player. He is a shooting guard that is a three-point specialist.

Carroll is 6'5" is tall and weighs 190 lbs. He played high school basketball at Hatboro-Horsham High School in Horsham, Pennsylvania under coach Walt Ostrowski. He played college basketball at the Saint Joseph's University for Phil Martelli and played with future National Basketball Association players Jameer Nelson, Delonte West and Dwayne Jones.

He, with his brother, Matt, who starred at Notre Dame and now plays for the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats, and his grandfather, legendary Pennsylvania high school coach Don Graham began Carroll Camps, a basketball camp run by the Carroll brothers to teach the fundamentals of basketball, specifically shooting.

Like his brother, Carroll went undrafted out of college. He played professionally in the NBA Pro Summer League and went to Europe after going unsigned by an NBA team. After injuring his shoulder in a game in Italy, Carroll returned to the U.S. to undergo surgery and rehabilitate.

On July 2, 2006, it was reported in The Philadelphia Inquirer that the Houston Rockets had invited Carroll to play on its summer league team in Las Vegas from July 6-14.

On August 17, 2006, Carroll signed a contract with the Dallas Mavericks but was waived October 15 before the 2006-07 season started.

Along with senior Jameer Nelson, junior guard Delonte West and sophomore center Dwayne Jones, Pat Carroll was an integral part of the undefeated regular season of 2004. The Hawks earned a #1 Seed in the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship and advanced to the Elite Eight. They were within seconds of the Final Four before Oklahoma State Cowboys' John Lucas III hit a 3-pointer. Saint Joseph's finished with a 30-2 record, the best in the University's history.
