[edit] Photo and spelling
I like the photo, but unfortunately it is not a photo of Pasu Sar. It is actually a photo of Shispare, based on comparing all of the photos on the site referenced with the Jerzy Wala map of the Batura Muztagh. That photo site seems also to be the source for the spelling "Passu Sar," which does not agree with most sources. -- Spireguy 17:22, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

- Hi Spireguy, this message was burried under the load of other messages and went unnoticed until today. Thank you for the correction. Have you notified the originator of the picture?
- As for the spellings Pasu vs Passu, I have always seen it spelled as Passu by the locals (although I don't claim that most locals use this version of the spellings, because I didn't research it). If you compare Google search results, Google Search Pasu gives no relavent result in top 9, and the 10th is also in some other language, which mentions "Khunjerab Pass" as "Khunjerev Pasu", whereas Google Search Passu gives several relavent results on top. - Thanks for the clarification on the spelling. Sounds like keeping it Passu makes sense. I did just contact the originator of the picture, and I haven't gotten anything back yet. I'll wait a few more days, and then move the picture regardless, but hopefully he will reply. -- Spireguy 13:43, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
