Pasupathy is a Tamil actor, active in the cinema business in India. He started off by acting minor roles and now has developed into a prominent supporting actor.

He started off as a villain in movie Dhool then moved over to supporting characters. His performances in films like Virumandi and Kannathil Muthamittal were commendable. Within a short period into his career he proved he is a versatile actor, his role as a church priest in the National Award winning film Iyarkai (Nature), stands proof for this. Trained in Koothu-P-Pattarai, a renowned theatre group in Chennai, Pasupathy is considered a character actor par excellence. In fact, a Tamil magazine called him Karuppu (black) Kamal Haasan.

His latest Tamil film is Veyyil (Sunshine).
