Pasadena High School (Pasadena, Texas)

Pasadena High School is a secondary school in Pasadena, Texas.

Pasadena High School, which serves grades 9 through 12, is part of the Pasadena Independent School District. The school had 2949 students as of the 2002-2003 school year.

The current principal is Chris Bolyard.

Pasadena High School's mascot is an eagle named "Baldy". The school colors are green and white. The PHS Eagle Alliance Marching Band is known as the Pride of Pasadena. The school also has a precision dance team, known as the Eagle Escort.


The school is located along Texas State Highway 225 (La Porte Freeway).

Elementary schools that feed into Pasadena High School include Gardens, Kruse, L.F. Smith, McMasters, Morales, Pomeroy, Red Bluff, Richey, South Houston (in nearby South Houston), and South Shaver.

Intermediate schools that feed into Pasadena High School include Jackson, Queens, and San Jacinto.

As of 2005, all Pasadena High School students are required to wear standardized dress that consists of a blue, hunter green, or white oxford shirt or polo shirt and denim, khaki, or navy trousers, skirts, and dresses [1]. All Pasadena ISD schools are required to have standardized dress [2].

Pasadena High School competes in a variety of sports, including football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball, track, cross country, tennis (singles, doubles and team), aquatics (swimming, diving, water polo, and finswimming), golf, and soccer, with the most successful sports being football, track and field and aquatics.
