[edit] Article Rename Required

Um... It's the TI-99/4A, not the TI99/4A. 24.222.121.193 08:01, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

I just fixed a bunch of "TI99/4A" errors to "TI-99/4A" throughout Wikipedia. You can clearly see here, http://oldcomputers.net/ti994a.html (closeup: http://oldcomputers.net/pics/ti-994a-name-2.jpg), that it is TI-99/4A. 24.222.121.193 19:08, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
Ok, I renamed the article to include the hyphen. -- Bovineone 06:43, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] section on playing Parsec on PC?

Should there be a section on how to play Parsec today (without a TI-99/4A handy)? I assume the majority of people who have played Parsec in the past year have done so via an emulator. Could link to Classic99 in the article, as it has the Parsec ROM licensed. 24.222.121.193 23:58, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

It's already linked from TI-99/4A. This is probably enough. JulesH 16:33, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image.

I've just uploaded an image. I've got 4 of them captured, and wasn't sure which was best to include here (we are, apparently, only allowed one under wikipedia's fair use policy).

As well as the one I've just added, I also have one with the warning text "URBITE SHIPS ATTACKING!!!", one with a Dramite ship firing on the player, and one in an asteroid belt. If you think any of these would be a better choice, I'll upload that one and we can switch it around. JulesH 17:05, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Quote Errors

The first quote listed is in error.

The game doesn't say "Alert. Aliens ships advancing."

When alient fighters (swoopers, light-triangular-fighters, and saucers) approach, the voice says, "Alert! Alien CRAFT advancing."

When "capital" ships (Urbites, Dramites, Bynites) approach, it says, "Alaert! Ships attacking."

In addition, the three "congratulatory" messages I'm familiar with include: 1. Laser on target. 2. Nice shooting. 3. Great shot, pilot.

I made a correction here, using quotations I know are right. Feel free to add to it. Ntsimp 22:38, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
