From the Wikipedia:Manual of Style (dates and numbers):
- Do not append an s for plurals of unit abbreviations. For example, kg, in, yd, lb not kgs, ins, yds, lbs.

- That, of course, is precisely the problem with the image as well. Since the one who keeps reverting and putting those "kms" back in is also the creator of the image (User:Mick Knapton), it would be easiest for that user to fix the image. I imaging there is some way I could crudely paste a correction over it and upload that, but I just as soon not have to. Gene Nygaard 01:26, 15 October 2005 (UTC)
