Party is a 1981 album by early punk musician Iggy Pop. It peaked at number 166 on Billboard top 200 albums. Single "Bang Bang" charted at number 35 on Billboard club play singles chart and later was covered by David Bowie. Party is one of three Iggy's albums from Arista years (along with New values and Soldier) and some fans preferred that period rather than earlier albums done in collaboration with Bowie. Although is not considered as one of Iggy's best works, still there are few great songs like Pumpin' for Jill, Bang Bang and Sincerity. The Party tour was documented on live DVD called Live in San Francisco. Buddha reissued the album in 2000 with two non-essential bonus tracks, "Speak to me" and "One for my baby".
