Parry Field in Belmont, Perth was the site of the Baseball WA's first purpose built Baseball stadium. The stadium featured TV standard lighting, seating for around 2,200 people and standing room for 3,000 more. The stadium was sold off by Belmont City Council as part of the WA Building Better Cities Program, The councillors felt the development would be jeopardized by leaving the stadium in tact. This feeling was caused by the extravagance of the first few seasons of the Australian Baseball League which saw fire works, loud music and other pre-match festivities.
