Parle Tilak Vidyalaya

Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (also known as PTV) is an educational institution in the Vile Parle, Mumbai. It consists of three schools - the PTV Marathi Medium Secondary School, the PTV Marathi Medium Primary School and the PTV English Medium School.

The Marathi Medium School (then unified), was founded in 1921, as a tribute to Late Shri Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak. The English Medium School was founded in 1982.

Parle Tilak Vidyalaya is part of the Parle Tilak Association, which constitutes a number of schools and colleges in Vile Parle. The present headmistress of the school is Mrs. Sharda Limaye (English Medium) and Mrs. G. Karande (Marathi Medium)

The Schools (Both the English and Marathi medium) have been particularly famous for producing numerous merit list rankers in the State Secondary Board examinations year after year.
