Parkwood High School is a high school located in Monroe, North Carolina. It opened in August 1961. It is also adjacent to Parkwood Middle School with feeder elementary schools Prospect Elementary School and Western Union Elementary School. The principal of the school is Rob Jackson.

It is traditionally one of the highest scoring schools in the county, though in recent years its scores have diminished somewhat. Parkwood is currently completing a project for a second gym, which will open in 2007. It is also adding trailers due to large growth in feeder areas.
