[edit] Parker Center for Investment Research
The Parker Center is a graduate level research institution located within the S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. Jeffrey Parker, founder of FirstCall, donated the funds nesseasry to develop the center. The Park Center houses the Cayuga MBA Fund, a student run hedge fund Located within the Parker Center, is the Robert S. Boas Trading Room and Richard A. Marin Family Investment Studio.
The Parker Center is open for use by all Cornell students, but is often used for classes and student group meetings. The Center is located on the second floor of Sage Hall.
[edit] Cayuga MBA Fund
The $13 million Cayuga MBA Fund is operated by a team of student fund managers who run a market nuetral, long short equity hedge fund. The fund is known for its incorporation of advanced quantitative research methods along with traditional fundamental research.
- The Cayuga Fund is the second largest student run investment fund
- The Cayuga Fund was opened in 1998, and is now closed to new investors
- In 2006, the Cayuga Fund returned 14.2%, with $13.5 million on manangement
- The Cayuga Fund has 180 alumni portfolio mangers
