Paresh Maity (Bengali: পরেশ মাইতি)(Born in 1965 in Kolkata, India) is an Indian artist. He lives and works in Delhi and is married to artist Jayasri Burman.

He has a degree in Fine Arts from the Government College of Art & Craft, Calcutta and graduated at the top of his class with a Masters of Fine Arts from the Delhi College of Arts. He has had some 43 shows in twenty years. He gradually moved from atmospheric scenery to representations of the human form. His more recent paintings are bold and graphic, with a strong color and unusual cropping. Maity's works are in a number of collections, including the British Museum, and the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi. He has won a number of awards, the most recent being an award from Royal Watercolour Society, London in 2002.
