Parasol aircraft

A Parasol aircraft is one that has its wings mounted above and away from the fuselage. The wing may be supported either by a number of struts, or a faired structure often called a pylon. A wing that is mounted at the extreme top of the fuselage is called Shoulder mounted. Image:Parasole.jpg
