Paramakudi is a city and a municipality in Ramanathapuram district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Few notable persons from this place are famous Indian actors Kamal Haasan, Riyaz and Vikram.The River Vaigai flows through paramakudi on its way to the bay of bengal.
