Papillion-La Vista Public Schools

The Papillion-La Vista School District is headquarted in Papillion, Nebraska. The school district covers all of Papillion, La Vista, and a small portion of Bellevue. The district was originally established as the Papillion School District but with the rapid growth of La Vista (incorporated in 1960) the city was officially added to the school districts name in 1987 by former Superintendent Roger Miller.

The school district is home to three high schools (Papillion-La Vista South High School, IDEAL School, and Papillion La Vista Senior High School). It is also home to two junior high schools (Papillion Junior High and La Vista Junior High). The school district controls six elementary schools in Papillion (Trumble Park, Carraige Hill, Walnut Crick, Rumsey Station, Tara Heights, and Hickory Hills), four elementary schools in La Vista (G Stanley Hall, Portal, La Vista West, and Parkview Heights), and two elementary schools in Bellevue (Anderson Grove and Golden Hills).
