Thanks for contributing to the encyclopedia, but if you don't know anything about the article, then it's best to let someone else eventually create it. Cheers, -Panser Born- (talk) 09:18, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
please please keep the page! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kfc1864 (talkcontribs) 09:21, 6 April 2007 (UTC).
I'm afraid the page clearly meets the speedy deletion critera, so unless you can expand the article, it will get deleted by an administrator. -Panser Born- (talk) 09:24, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] self directed support

You flaged my entry for speedy deletion, not sure why and how you feel I need to change to meet wiki requiremnts am new so please explain ...--86.29.196.160 09:34, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

Sure, I'll try and help you understand why I tagged it for speedy deletion, but could you direct me to the article you're talking about? Cheers, -Panser Born- (talk) 09:36, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
Aha, nevermind, I believe I've found the page you're talking about. The reason it falls under speedy deletion is because it reads exactly like an advert would. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and therefore neutral, which is why articles that are blatent advertising get deleted. However, I suspect that even if you were to improve the article so it was no longer an advert, the company in question would fail Wikipedia's notability guidelines, and the article would get deleted for not meeting these. Unless you can find several reputable sources for the article (see our guidelines on attribution), then I'm afraid this will probably get deleted by an administrator within a short amount of time. -Panser Born- (talk) 09:49, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for your advice
what counts as reputable source ?
(PS its not a company) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.29.196.160 (talk) 10:25, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
Well, an example of a good source would be a newspaper article. -Panser Born- (talk) 10:30, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Zip job

I just deleted that as it's copied right from Urban Dictionary and violates copyright. Cheers. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 09:42, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Chihiro Hasegawa

Hello. You flagged my entry for speedy deletion, I can kinda see why but was wondering how it differs greatly from an entry like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ami_Ayukawa I don't wish to have that entry deleted but an answer would help me understand what makes a good entry. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Avformula (talkcontribs) 14:39, 6 April 2007 (UTC).

Hi, and thanks for asking for advice. =) The reason I tagged the article Chihiro Hasegawa for speedy deletion was that the article made no claim as to why the person it was about was notable enough to warrant a page on Wikipedia. We have certain notability guidelines for people here at Wikipedia (and, funnily enough, one specifically for pornographic actors), which you can find here (for general guidelines concerning people, take a look here). Hopefully those pages should help you out with what you want to know. I've also added a welcome template to your userpage which has a few handy links on it too. Happy editing. =) Cheers, -Panser Born- (talk) 14:50, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks for hjalp on Spoken Wiki

Hey I uploaded architecture and urbanization and will continue making more recordings. For architecture I currently only recorded the introduction, I hope thats ok, the rest of the page seems to fluctuate every day so I figured the heading would be more useful. Davumaya 20:47, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

Sounds great, glad I could help you out. =) -Panser Born- (talk) 21:33, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
