[edit] Can we prune this

I think the famous people section is to big, anyone who does have a page should be deleted.--HalaTruth(ሐላቃህ) 20:51, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Redlinks often encourage people to add pages. If the figure is notable, I think its ok to have a link here. If the template is too big, we could make it collapsible, such as the templates (OPEC, WTO) at the end of Economy of Angola. In fact, that sounds like a good idea to me. I dont know how to make pages collapse. but sounds like a plan.--HalaTruth(ሐላቃህ) 23:18, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
I don't think the template is bulky enough to need to be collapsed. And Smmurphy is right about redlinks encouraging article creation - I created John Nyathi Pokela and Zephania Mothopeng because they were linked from here. Picaroon 20:43, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Alphabetize

In the list of proponents, Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia should technically be under "H", not "S". "Selassie" is not a surname (and in this case, it isn't his father's name, either; see Wikipedia:Manual of Style (Ethiopia-related articles)#Proper names). I also suspect that Muammar al-Gaddafi should really be under "M". -- Gyrofrog (talk) 07:59, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

In his article, categories are sorted as [[Category:Libyan politicians|Gaddafi, Muammar al-]]. Picaroon 20:43, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
