Panvhavadyam (Pancha in Sanskrit means number 5 and Vadyam means Musical instrument. So in PanchaVadyam only 5 types of instruments are used {Although their numbers are not restricted}. Thease are namely Madallam, Timila, Kombu, ElaThallam and Edakka)
