It seems strange that the first picture on thr page is a race car while Panasonic has almost nothing to do with them... how about a picture of a product of theirs like...

[edit] Origin of Panasonic brand

Panasonic's own websites give varying information. This one says the name appeared on export speakers (but doesn't say to which country) in 1955, while this one says it was introduced in the US in 1961. Although not a direct contradiction, it remains to be clarified. --Blainster 21:37, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
