[edit] Legality
"Completely illegal" seems a bit vague. Is this mushroom listed under the Controlled Substances Act? Asht0n 22:12, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
- yes and no. no mushroom is actually scheduled; however, they are considered "containers" of a scheduled substance, which makes them illegal to posess. the "completely illegal" is not only vague but not exactly accurate; in new mexico one can grow mushrooms legally for their personal use, and in florida one can pick them from the wild for their own use. spores are legal in almost every state, except for california and two others, as they do not contain any psilocybin. So i'm going to change that sentence. thanks for pointing this out. --Heah talk 23:15, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
