Panskura (Bengali: পাঁসকুড়া) is a town and a Police station in Purba Medinipur in the Indian state of West Bengal.

Panskura is located at [1]. It has an average elevation of 7 metres (26 feet). Its a situated on the NH6 on the way from Kolkatta to Kharagpur.
The livelihood of the common people is dependent on agriculture. Many varieties of flowers / green vegetable are grown and are supplied to kolkatta from here.
Panskura B. B. High School is the oldest and the reputed school of the area. Panskura Banamali College is the sole institution of higher education.
