Pannenkoeken

Pannenkoeken are Dutch pancakes, yet unlike the usual American pancake, Pannenkoeken often incorporate slices of smoked bacon, for example. They are usually thinner as well.
Pannekoeken Huis (Pancake House) is a small restaurant chain in Minnesota.

- American Music Artist Kasson Crooker uses the pseudonym "The Duke of Pannenkoeken" as a member of the synthpop group Freezepop.
- The song Super Disco Breakin' by the Beastie Boys contains the lyrics, "Sometimes I like to brag, sometimes I'm soft-spoken / When I'm in Holland I eat the pannenkoeken."
