Panipenem/betamipron

Panipenem/betamoprin is a carbapenem antibiotic launched by M/s Sankyo Co. of Japan.
The brand name is "Cerbenim" and was launched in 1993.
It is combination in which panipenem is the carbapenem antibiotic and betamoprin is a renal inhibitor and inhibits renal uptake of panipenem and also from nephrotoxicity (pretty much like the imipenem/cilastatin combination)
