Panhwar or Panwar (Urdu: پنہوار) are found among both Hindu as well as Muslims . Panwar or Panhwar is a Sindhi tribe from Sindh, Pakistan.There are Panwar living in India now after the partition of India when they left their traditional homelands .

The Panhwars constitute about 40% of Dadu District, Sindh. Panhwars live in all parts of Sindh and are engaged in agriculture, civil serice and business.

The Panhwars have been mentioned in the history several times and in 18th century when the capital of Sindh was Khudaabad Panhwars were rulers of Sindh for a short period of time.
