Panel dividing equipment

Panel dividing equipment is a type of woodworking machine (panel line) that is intended to divide master panel into sized parts.

  • Automatic 2-D system
    • Similar to high speed panel saw with lifting table (1-D, rip cut), but extra with 2nd beam saw unit (2-D, cross cut).
      • Commercial name: Angular system.
  • Automatic 1-D system
    • Similar to high speed panel saw but extra with automatic loading system, called lifting table or rear loading device.
  • Panel saw also known as beam saw
    • Saw carriage speed >= 100 m/min
      • Commercial name: High speed panel saw
      • Typical: Saw blade projection 140 mm, Saw carriage speed 120 m/min, NC gripper speed 100 m/min.
      • Typical: Saw blade projection 125 mm, Saw carriage speed 100 m/min, NC gripper speed 50 m/min.
    • Saw carriage speed < 100 m/min.
      • Commercial name: Panel saw or Low speed panel saw
      • Typical: Saw blade projection 95 mm, Saw carriage speed 80 m/min, NC gripper speed 40 m/min.
      • Typical: Saw blade projection 70 mm, Saw carriage speed 60 m/min, NC gripper speed 30 m/min.
  • Panel saw without NC gripper or panel saw without NC fence
    • Commercial name: Manual panel saw or Manual beam saw
    • Typical: Saw blade projection 70 mm, Saw carriage speed 30 m/min.
  • Sliding table saw manual operation
    • Typical: Saw blade projection 60 mm.
