Panambur

Panambur is the name of place where New Mangalore Port is situated. It is located in Dakshina Kannada (formerly South Canara ) district of Karnataka state,India. There is a Nandaneshwara temple in Panambur. The sea port is near to Surathkal railway station on Mumbai-Mangalore railway route.There is a beautiful beach on the shore of Arabian Sea at Tanniru Bhavi ( Meaning Cold Water well in Kannada )to south of sea port at Panambur.

Many Factories are located at Panambur like Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers,Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Limited[1].
