Yep, it's shot from the fire escape of Saint Hilda's, during the Christmas holidays. That's on Heriot Row. T

Thanks, pal. I had composed a cancellation of my question as soon as I saw the big version. (I didn't think of the fire escape, though!)

My wife and I lived in a house hidden in the trees below Heriot Row from 1969-71.

hahaha. (I was technically trespassing when i took the photo, but I tried from the road on the hill, and powerlines got in the way.)

You can use the picture any way you want. (With link back etc :-D) I've got a version at an even higher resolution (about double) but i think it's on a friend's computer. Leave a message if you want it. T
