A panorama of the view from West Head. The stitching isn't great, but others are welcome to get a better shot.

Lion Island is visible on the left, then the view extends across Broken Bay (the mouth of the Hawkesbury River) to Barrenjoey Head the back of Palm Beach then into Pittwater.
