[edit] On Sarvadarsanasamgraha and Madhvacharya
Thank you for the communication. You are correct. Sarvadarsanasamgraha was written by Madhavacharya, the monist and not by Madhvacharya, the dualist. But I think it is good to create a page on Madhavacharya but I do not have much information on him. If one searchs now for Madhavacharya in Wikipedia, she/he is taken to the page of Madhvacharya. This has to be corrected. And immediately. Hope somebody (perhaps any administrators of Wikipedia) will do that.
More information on the talk page of Madhvacharya. MANOJTV 08:25, 2 Feb 2005 (UTC)
[edit] tagging articles
Please put semi-permanent templates like {{expansion}} that only are useful to editors, on talk pages (the only exception I can think of would be the different stub templates). This is to Avoid self references as much as possible and make our content more useful to third party users. Thank you. :) --mav 08:54, 10 Feb 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Ted Hitler
Thanks for adding the link to the transcript in Stephen Colbert article. I added the redirect for Ted Hitler mostly for a laugh, but your edit made it relevant. Thanks.MpegMan 06:26, 20 Feb 2005 (UTC)

[edit] {{cite video}}
Thank you for creating this template. But could you give at least one example, I'm finding hard to refer to the documentary film Harab libnan (War of Lebanon). CG 10:35, July 29, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] ON "spam"
Check out Special:Contributions/Uriah923 and the user has constantly added links to the ON site, which has been created by him and which I believe is a Sock puppet of CHansen and MarkMcB, who is supposedly the founder of the site and has an article on himself as well. pamri 08:04, July 15, 2005 (UTC)
- Pamri, you have no idea what you are talking about. Fact error 1: I did not create ON. Fact error 2: I am most definitely not a sock puppet, as evident by how fast I am typing. Fact error 3: There is not an ON site nor an article on MarkMcB, as evident by your empty links. Fact error 4: My contributions include much valuable content up and above links to ON. Links have been used only where they are necessary as References. I suggest you do more research before posting your conspiracy theories. Uriah923 19:09, 2 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Economy and Bollywood
Dear Pamri,
I don't think that article is a good idea at all, but I'm going to talk to you before putting it up for deletion. It is NOT at all clear to me what you want to prove with this article. So far, the two films you've added seem to illustrate "films as protests against capitalism", which has more to do with ideology than economy, and seems rather POV. What about all the films that glorify the family firm? I'm always astounded by the matter-of-fact acceptance of nepotism in the plot lines of Bollywood films. OF COURSE Prem will enter the family firm. OF COURSE we'll set up an automotive division for him. Then there's the economics of dowry, marriages across class lines, etc. etc. It's just a huge sprawling topic and it would all be original research.
I think there might be a good article in a discussion of film as PART of the economy of India, as industry. I just finished reading Tejaswini Ganti's book, Bollywood, and he/she has a very good discussion of the economics of film. That's a good place to start. Zora 08:52, 16 August 2005 (UTC)
