Pam St. Clement

Pamela 'Pam' St. Clement (born 12 May 1942 in Harrow-on-the-Hill, Middlesex) is an English actress, best known for playing Pat Evans in the popular BBC soap opera EastEnders, who she has portrayed continuously since 1986. She is one of the few famous graduates from Rolle College, Exmouth[citation needed].

Her other acting credits include Emmerdale, The Tripods, The Onedin Line and Private Schultz. In 2006, St Clement appeared as Aunt Sponge at the Children's Party At The Palace, an all-star event to celebrate the Queen's 80th birthday. Before she became an actress, she worked as a teacher[citation needed].

St Clement is a keen conservationist, and supports several charities including the Global Wildlife Fund. Her interests include horse-riding. She also keeps many dogs as pets, of which her favourite is Robert Baker[citation needed]. She has described herself as bisexual and she is a supporter of gay rights [1].
