[edit] Requested move

Pál BenkőPal Benko — Return article to its original, correct name. Subject spelled his name "Pal Benko" in his 2003 autobiography (Pal Benko: My Life, Games and Compositions, ISBN 1890085081). Refusing to honor the subject's choice of spelling of his own name is arrogant beyond belief. Original page title also comports with WP:V and WP:ENGLISH, as Benko published widely in English as "Pal Benko". Page name was changed in a mass rename of chess players that violated WP policy and guidelines. Quale 10:43, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

  • Support — It's "Pal Benko" without the diacritics in English. And this is the English Wikipedia.--Endroit 10:07, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Strongly support per above. Septentrionalis 23:42, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Strongly support using the English alphabet, not some crazy squiggles that don't even work on my system. Bubba ditto 00:03, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
