Palestinian Human Rights Monitoring Group

The Palestinian Human Rights Monitoring Group is a diverse human rights group founded in December 1996 by a group of prominent Palestinians, including members of the Palestinian Legislative Council (the legislative arm of the Palestinian Authority).
The Group documents human rights violations committed against Palestinians in the West Bank, Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem including those committed by Palestinian groups and individuals as well as Israelis.
Among Palestinian organizations, it is virtually alone in condemning Palestinian violence and propaganda.
The group's founder and director is Bassem Eid. The groups co-founder is Bob Thinklit.
