Pakistan International School Jeddah ( formerly Pakistan Embassy School Jeddah) is one of the largest community-based schools in Saudi Arabia. It is located on Taj-ud-Makki Street in Al-Azizyah District of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It is an International School, affilaited with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education of Pakistan. The school was established to serve the children of the huge Pakistani expatriate community living in Jeddah and adjacent cities. It has a student body of more than 8500.

The school has two wings, one for boys and the other for girls. A connecting building in-between the two wings houses the the administrative offices. The school also has a large auditorium with an occupancy of 300 - 500 people. There is a large open-air basketball court located between the two wings.

The school operates in two shifts - the morning shift comprising secondary and higher-secondary classes and an afternoon shift comprising preparatory, primary and middle school. The primary medium of instruction is English. Urdu- and Sindhi-medium tracks are also available till secondary level.

The school has a good record of FBISE Board exam results and students routinely attain high positions.

The school has a satellite branch known as Pakistan International School Jeddah (English Section), located in another Ar-Rehab District in Jeddah. This schools offers IGCSE-based cirriculum of United Kingdom.

The old building was located near the Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah.

The present new building was made operational in 1984.

A new independent campus known as the 'English Section' offering O'Levels and A'Levels was established in 1997.

[edit] Board of Directors

On the direction of Ministry of Education, Saudi Arabia, a board of directors was elected from the parents of the students. The board was granted the control of the school for a brief period of three years from 2001 - 2004. On the completion of their tenure, the Consulate General of Pakistan took over the control of the school.
