Sorry mate, I thought I'd already replied. Nottingham Trent University is right in the city center, so you would have better luck applying to Nottingham University, which is a bit more out of the way (there are 2 Universities in Nottingham). I'm no expert on Universities and how centralised they are, but I would assume that in any city, the University would be in the City Center, and if you want a really reputable University, you would almost certainly have to go to a BIG city. There is a map of uni's here and you should be able to find plenty of information at UCAS - the British universities board - here.
