If you are going to say "they eat more omnivorously", you must use the term properly. Omnivores eat a variety of both plant & animal matter, you list only animal matter.MFuture 03:47, 31 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Living in Captivity
I've owned a painted turtle for 25 yers. She is 28 years old and very healthy. There may not be enough research to accurately estimate how long they are likely live in captivity.
