Pairagachha is a census town in Hooghly district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is under Chanditala police station in Serampore subdivision. [1]

As of 2001 India censusGRIndia, Pairagachha had a population of 4350. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Pairagachha has an average literacy rate of 80%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 86%, and female literacy is 75%.
