Paewang was a Baduk (Go) competition. At present, the title has been defunct since 2003.

The competition started in 1959, making it - along with Chaegowi - the second oldest Baduk competition after Guksu. The most notable record set in Paewang competition is that of the dominance of Cho Hunhyun, who has won the competition a record sixteen times from 1977 to 1992.
