[edit] Patrick Smyth

This article is now back to its correct title -- no need to make any more redirects or duplicates. Thanks, NawlinWiki 15:49, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

I think User:Paddysmyth is a better title. Please read WP:AUTO. The recommendation is always: wait until someone else writes a biography about you. You cannot claim that the length of time the Patrick Smyth article survived is evidence of notabilty. -- RHaworth 17:18, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

You know the funny thing...you had me up there for so long on wiki that my name has been indexed by the planet (google search - "patrick smyth" wikipedia)...the thing is that there are changes and additions to my bio since I have taken over as CEO of another company, and launched three others...whilst i understand the 'self promotion' point that you are trying to make, because of you...yes you...there is now information on the net that uses wikipedia as its source even though there are errors.

[edit] User:Paddysmyth

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to your user page (User:Paddysmyth), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy).

Please note that the purpose of a user page is not as personal homepage or used as a general webhosting service, but as way for active editors of Wikipedia to introduce themselves to other editors. If you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues here or on my user talk page. You may remove the deletion notice, and the page will not be deleted for the moment, but note that it may still be sent to Miscellany for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria.
