Paddy Hopkirk

Patrick Barron "Paddy" Hopkirk (born Belfast, April 14, 1933) is a former rally driver from Northern Ireland. He was elected as a life member of the British Racing Drivers' Club in 1967.

Alongside Henry Liddon he won the 1964 Monte Carlo Rally in a Mini Cooper S, registration number 33 EJB. The Mini was nominated in 2004 by Top Gear in the Restoration Rip-Off survey, where 5 old cars were nominated for restoration; the Mini was eventually chosen as the car to be restored.
