Paddy Coad (April 4, 1920 – March 8, 1992) was a native of Waterford, Ireland. Having played with Waterford United in his younger days it is for his time at Shamrock Rovers that he is best remembered. With the Hoops Paddy scored 104 goals in league competitions. He made 11 National Team appearances in which he scored 3 goals. Paddy won three league titles and 4 Cup titles (1944, 1945, 1948 & 1956) with Rovers.
Paddy died in his native Waterford after a long battle against cancer in 1992.
