Paco is a New York band which formed in 2001 with Ivy vocalist Dominique Durand and multi-instramentalist Andy Chase. Having run into composer Michael Hampton and engineer Gary Maurer (who had worked with Hem (band) and Fountains of Wayne,) their first album, [This Is Where We Live] (2004) was released with much praise. Skimming on the same lines as Ivy's sound and adding a bit more electronic style made for a nice debut album.

The album was produced and recorded at Stratosphere Sound, NY and at Michael and Andy's home studios.
