Should this category be split according to Eastern North Pacific, Central North Pacific, Western North Pacific and South Pacific? — Instantnood 12:29, July 21, 2005 (UTC)

This should be for the Eastern and Central Pacific only; they are not hurricanes in the Western Pacific or the South Pacific. Those should go under Category:Pacific typhoons. CrazyC83 16:58, 4 September 2005 (UTC)
