Milne-Edwards's Sifaka (Propithecus diadedwardsi)
Original caption: Propithecus diadema, var Edwardsii (A. Grandidier), tué dans la forêt de Manapahy (côte S.E. de Madagascar), au quart de la grandeur naturelle. L’individu représenté sur cette planche est intermédiaire aux Propithèques tout noirs et a ceux qui ont le dos et les reins blancs.
English Translation (partial): Propithecus diadema, Edwardsii variety (A. Grandidier), killed in the Manapahy forest (SE coast of Madagascar)... The individual represented on this plate is intermediate the all black Propithecus and has those which have the white back and kidneys.
