P.S. (A Toad Retrospective) is a compilation by Toad the Wet Sprocket. Released in 1999, it was a posthumous look back at their career featuring hits and fan favorites. Glen Phillips, Dean Dinning and Randy Guss reunited for two new recordings: a new version of "P.S." and "Eyes Open Wide," and all-new song. Todd Nichols did not participate in the new recordings or the writing of "Eyes Open Wide", though he is credited as co-writer on "P.S." as it is one of Toad's earliest songs. Rob Taylor, who at the time was the lead guitar player in the band Lapdog with Nichols and Dinning, is credited as playing "additional guitar" on the two new recordings.
