Here are some tips:

- Ask questions at the Village pump or Help desk.

- Provide an Edit summary
- Add the correct image copyright tag to any images you upload
- Create a User page
- Be bold
- Ignore all rules
If you feel a change is needed, feel free to make it yourself! Wikipedia is a wiki, so anyone (yourself included) can edit any article by following the Edit this page link. Wikipedia convention is to be bold and not be afraid of making mistakes. If you're not sure how editing works, have a look at How to edit a page, or try out the Sandbox to test your editing skills.
If, for some reason, you are unable to fix a problem yourself, feel free to ask someone else to do it. Wikipedia has a vibrant community of contributors who have a wide range of skills and specialties, and many of them would be glad to help. As well as the wiki community pages there are IRC Channels, where you are more than welcome to ask for assistance.

Hey there P.B... I saw your note on the new user log, and I just wanted to say that even as a high schooler, you can make important contributions. Obviously you can copyedit like you have been, and we appreciate the help, but there's something else you can do that I think Wikipedia needs a lot more of.
One of the problems a lot of Wikipedia articles have is readability. When an expert in something starts editing an article, the article gets a lot more comprehensive and accurate. Sometimes in the process, it also becomes incomprehensible for anyone who isn't an expert. We NEED people who don't know anything about a subject, because the purpose of Wikipedia is to be an information resource for non-experts. We need people to tell us when we're failing! So when you run across something that makes no sense to you at all, drop a note on the article's talk page. That way the other writers will know they have a problem, which is the first step toward fixing it.

Sorry... Here's the info you need.

All I'm wondering is if there is some way for this IP adress (which has been blocked in the past) to be blocked without affecting me. If there isn't, that's fine. I'll just wait until the block is lifted, I guess.
- That address is no longer blocked, so you should be okay to edit again, with apologies for the inconvenience. As for your question, yes, there are ways to block the IP and not block you.
