Păsăreni

Păsăreni or Backamadaras is a small village in the Mureş province of Romania, close to Târgu Mureş. Păsăreni has a population of around the 1,920 inhabitants. There is a Hungarian Reformed Church, a Hungarian Catholic Church and a Romanian-Orthodox Church in the village.
In Păsăreni live 1,600 Hungarians, 115 Romanians and 190 Gypsies.
In this village an elderly home Diakonos, subsidised by the Netherlands helps elderly people.
