eBay has its own article. I honestly fail to see why eBay's *competitors* don't deserve a seperate (detailed) page. This is not blatant spam/advertising; it is showing the company itself and perhaps more of a comparison to eBay than anything else. Contested. SMC 00:01, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

if places like uBid and TradeMe (probably as "unnoteable" as this article, if you go by CSD/rfd means) have an article, perhaps we should CSD them too? template removed, though i doubt this will be the end of it *again* SMC 04:47, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

A link to a news article constituted the references section, which was deleted with the difficult to understand edit summary "Reference linked to a press released published as-is. This is not a reference." --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 14:37, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

A Template:db-spam tag was added by an anon-ip who subsequently removed the news item link I refer to in the 'deleted news article' section above. In conducting brief google searches, it appears that there are several 3rd party news items that establish the notability of this topic. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 14:40, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
