Oxley Shire, a shire located in Victoria, Australia, was founded in 1862. In 1994, the Oxley Shire was annexed into what eventually became the Rural City of Wangaratta.

The Councillers of the Oxley Shire commissioned Graham Jones to prepare a history of the shire which was published in 1995 as "Memories of Oxley".
