Oxide & Neutrino are a DJ and MC duo from London, consisting of Alex Rivers (b. 1982 in Isleworth, London) and Mark Oseitutu (b. Brixton, London).
Their first single "Bound 4 Da Reload" went to number 1 in the UK singles charts in May 2000. It is known for sampling the theme song to the BBC hospital drama series Casualty (it also sampled the line "I don't fucking believe this, could everyone stop gettin' shot" from the 1998 film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels).
Oxide & Neutrino are members of hip hop group So Solid Crew. Oxide has also produced tracks on Lisa Maffia's debut album First Lady, and the track "Industry Lady" on Face's mixtape Sign 2 The Block.
In 2007 they will make a highly anticipated return to the music scene first with a new single "What R U" released 14th May and then with their 4th album "2nd Chance" following on 11th June.
