Oxford Student Publications Ltd or OSPL, is an independent student publishing house in Oxford that publishes the renowned Cherwell student newspaper and the award-winning ISIS student magazine.

Wholly independent and run entirely by students of the University of Oxford, OSPL was incorporated in 1961, when it was established as a holding company for Cherwell newspaper. OSPL acquired the ISIS brand in the late 1990s. The company is limited by guarantee and listed at Companies House.

OSPL does not remunerate any of its directors or 'employees' (almost all of whom work on a volunteer basis), whether business or editorial. Its key revenue stream (accounting for over 90% of 2004/5 revenues) is advertising, and the company receives no subsidy from Oxford University. All profits are ploughed back into media production and into ensuring the long-term wellbeing of the company.
